Device Requirements

The following sections describe the requirements for devices using MarketPlace.

Supported Devices

The MarketPlace Devices page lists all devices supported by MarketPlace.

Notes:

• MarketPlace will not operate properly with third-party controllers attached to the device (e.g., Fiery controller).

• MarketPlace is not compatible with devices on which either of the following is installed:

  • SC-508 Security Kit

  • SC-509 Security Kit (i-Series devices only)

Connection Requirements

For a device to use MarketPlace, it must be connected to the internet.

In addition, the device must be able to connect to the following:

Payment Services

The following domains are required only for customers purchasing licenses via credit card in the North American MarketPlace. They are not required for standard MarketPlace operation.

Optional Domains (UI and User Experience Enhancements)

The following domains are used to enhance specific user interface features and improve the overall user experience. Access to these domains is recommended but not required for basic MarketPlace operation. If these domains are blocked, MarketPlace will remain accessible, but some visual elements or optional functionality may not work as intended.

Note: If optional domains are restricted by a firewall, proxy server, or network security policy, MarketPlace will remain accessible, but certain visual elements, downloadable content, or optional features may not function as intended.

IWS Settings Requirements

Shield Guard supports only devices equipped with IWS (Internal Web Server). All MarketPlace devices are equipped with IWS. For each device on which you install the MarketPlace Client, enable the following IWS Settings:
